Consultation Fees
Choose your tier,
no proof needed
I don't ask for proof of income, financial circumstances are complex and ever-changing. I invite you to choose the tier that most honestly reflects your current situation.
This is a trust-based system. Paying less than you can afford may prevent someone else from accessing affordable care, and limits my ability to keep offering reduced-cost appointments. My sliding scale model is based on the approach described by Worts and Cunning.
Tier One
The true cost
Full ratePlease choose this tier if you
- Regularly meet your basic needs, rent, food, bills
- Own a home or comfortably rent private accommodation
- Have stable employment, or don't need to work to meet your needs
- Have access to savings
- Can afford leisure and wellness activities without significant budgeting
Tier Two
Reduced rate
Please choose this tier if you
- Generally meet your basic needs
- Can sometimes afford non-essentials, a trip, meal out, new clothes, but plan ahead for them
- Have some expendable income but need to budget carefully
Tier Three
Solidarity rate
Please choose this tier if you
- Often worry about meeting basic needs or sometimes struggle to do so
- May carry debt that affects day-to-day financial flexibility
- Have limited or no savings
- Are in insecure employment or unemployed
- Rarely afford non-essential expenses such as meals out or leisure activities
What if the cost is still a barrier for me, even with the sliding scale?
Please get in touch. Financial hardship should never be a barrier to care. Ellie will do her best to find a way to help.
